My People’s Market returns for its fourth market this summer — this time with a two-day event in the Pearl District. Themed the Market of the Future, the first day, May 31, will be a trade show for local entrepreneurs to network and showcase their products and services. The trade show is designed for procurement officers, large scale companies and other enterprises seeking to enhance their MWESB sourcing. This component aligns with the second action step of Mayor Wheeler’s Portland Means Progress initiative, related to equitable sourcing. For more information or to sponsor this portion of the program, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The second day, June 1, will be the familiar bustling pop-up marketplace locals love, including live music, performances, interactive art, food and more.
The trade show and marketplace will occupy 60,000 square feet of the Broadway Corridor, at the northwest corner of the former U.S. Postal Service site. For information about participating, visit the website. To register for the trade show on May 31, please click here and use the password PORTLANDMEANSPROGRESS.
