Every summer, Portland’s neighborhoods — from east to west, north to south — put on their own hyper-local parties. You could spend nearly every weekend exploring these retail districts while enjoying live music, food and local color.

One of the earliest neighborhood street fairs of the year, the Kenton Street Fair livens up this historic North Portland neighborhood with food, activities and local vendors.

St. Johns Bizarre

The annual art- and craft-focused St. Johns Bizarre features local music, street performers, a selective market of craftspeople and vendors, food, a beer garden, kids art activities and more in the heart of St. Johns.

Alberta Street Fair

Hawthorne Street Fair

One of Portland’s favorite streets — and its longest-running street fair — the Hawthorne Street Fair pulls out all the stops with multiple music stages, two beer gardens and blocks of sidewalk sales at many of the more than one hundred local shops that line this original “shop local” stretch.
