Catch the “Dream to Fly” spirit and explore the fascinating world of aviation history. Just an hour from downtown Portland, in the beautiful Willamette Valley, the museum is home to Howard Hughes’ “Spruce Goose” and more than 80 other historic aircraft and exhibits. See replicas of a 1903 “Wright Flyer” and a WWI “Jenny”; learn about WWII fighters; and enter the Jet Age with the SR-71 “Blackbird.” Hear veterans and pilots share firsthand stories, shop in the extensive aviation store, watch a 3-D IMAX® movie and enjoy a view of the unique collection while refueling at the Spruce Goose Cafe. Open daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
