Christmas Revels 2009 - Portland Revels

9th Annual Holiday Concert Series with Aaron Meyer - Aaron Meyer
The Northwest's own "concert rock violinist" will return to Downtown's First Congregational Church for a series of Holiday concerts coinciding with the release of his latest CD "Do You Hear What I Hear." Portland Baroque Orchestra: Handel's Messiah Complete - Portland Baroque Orchestra
Handel's Messiah is one of the only pieces of Baroque music that has been performed continuously since its composition, and 2009 marks the 250th anniversary of the composer's death. Get your tickets early for this Portland holiday tradition.

Robert Ainsley, conductor of Portland Opera's groundbreaking production of La Calisto that featured PBO, directs this year's Messiah. These hour-long concerts were created for people between ages 5 and 10 ...though nobody will be carded.
