Portland Indie Wine Festival: May 2-4

Celebrate the rising stars of Oregon winemaking at the 2008 Portland Indie Wine Festival.

The fourth annual event is the premier showcase for Oregon's small, independent wineries — those small, boutique producers with a total annual production of 2,000 cases or fewer.

About the festival

Winemakers present and pour their wines at a weekend tasting gala that captures the friendly energy and casual ambience of a farmers market in the hip urban setting of Portland's Pearl District. Here, festivalgoers taste jury-selected wines and meet the independent winemakers who created them, while enjoying the cuisine of top Oregon chefs and artisan food purveyors.
